This is the first version with traction of the Volkswagen Caddy. Haldex system has a Traction with integral permanent, and several technical changes to adapt to this type of traction. The escape, the fuel tank and the shaft had been modified in this version.

It is available with the 1.9 TDI engine from 105 hp, accompanied by a gearbox six-speed manual. It comes with ESP and help system starting hill.
It is available both in hard with tailgate as in double-door version. With this new version, Volkswagen is trying to broaden the range of the Caddy utlización to other jobs that require moving the van complicated by land.
