Dakar 2009: from Argentina to Chile
Terrorist threats did that last year’s Dakar rally had to be canceled and, worse, are temiese for its continuity.
Finally we knew that would change from continent to ensure safety, and a few days ago has confirmed his itinerary. Depart the Jan. 3 from Buenos Aires, and over 15 stages tour Argentina and Chile, traveling from the Atlantic to the Pacific and vice versa. 
The slogan of the race, quite successful, will be "same adventure, new places," and we imagine that the organization will try to find routes similar to those that could be enjoyed in Africa.
It is curious that keep the nomenclature, what began as he lost the first Paris-Dakar Paris Dakar now, and still retains the original name. Also assured that the spirit remains.
